Agreed 100%. I think we are looking after sought after volume parts which are
in current sets. I'm thinking of parts like castle walls, 4561 thin wall
windows and the like. I doubt you'd ever get parts like 4561 nose as those
parts only have limited demand. Even if they were to make 4558 nose sections
again for LD (which has been ruled out), what would demand really be... a few
hundred, or parhaps a 1000. The cost in lost production would make it
pointless. Parts like castle walls, I know, would/could/will sell by the 1000.

| (...) Right. BUT, I'd also like to see a low-volume purchase option, where we (the insane) could purchase any current parts which aren't availble in service packs (or bulk purchase). This would be buying in small volumes, for a premium unit price (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

And it's doubtful that LD will want to stock an entire production run of a single part in a single color. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)
