  Lego(R) Numbering. What happens when we run out of numbers?
 
Given that Y2K was a major issue. (And also the problems with the capicity of IP v4) What Happens when there are more than 10000 Lego(R) sets? Do old numbers get re-used? Or do we get a new numbering series? This problem doesn't seem to exist for (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Not exactly sure what TLC will do with future numbering. But if the past is any indication (enter "725" in the LUGNET database and see how many entries there are) set number reuse is much more frequent than one might think. Gary Istok (24 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
