I wrote Consumer Affairs a letter about this a few months ago because I
want to protect my wedding cake topper from yellowing.  They replied
that they are testing several different techiques right now but didn't
have any conclusive results.  They did say that they replace the
models every 5 years or so.

I can look up the exact answer they gave tonight if you want.

How (if at all) do the various Legolands avoid UV damage to the lighter- colored brick used in their outdoor displays? Do they have some sort of nifty sunblock, do they replace the bricks every so often, do they simply not worry about it, or (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
