My question is, other than it being great (maybe) that you feel the

responsibility?

None other than it might be helpful to TLC I suppose, I'm guessing that as a
fan-base we are more likely to find potential trademark, copyright
infringements etc quicker than TLC would. Something like "Please email any
fairplay enquires to fairplay@lego.com", would be more appropriate I guess than
having any official LUGNET channel.

Granted, they could be a little more helpful by providing an e-mail
address or something on their fp doc, but I'm not at all interested in
seeing us become (even voluntarily) Lego police of some sort, not here
on LUGNET.

I agree - besides which it benefits no-one to 'embarrass' a company on a public
forum, especially a company which is trying to sell LEGO. But there's no reason
why it can't be a constructive relationship, I don't think anyone's seeking to
self-righteously proclaim companies breaking fairplay guidelines as evil.
