Define.
To quote in full:
5. Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous,
defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, or indecent
information of any kind, including without limitation any
transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would
constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or
otherwise violate any local, state, national, or international
law.
Given the wide variety of religious, social and legal systems across the
world, it becomes increasingly difficult to say anything other than
'Have a nice day' without offending *someone*.
So it comes down to a matter of degree. All it takes is a simple, none
judgmental, observation. Not a whole bunch of people pointing fingers.
I don't use bad language here, and I don't use it in front of children.
But I don't want to be constantly reading tell tale posts when someone
writes something which is a *very* *very* minor and debatable
infringement of the T&C.
Sorry if I've ruffled some feathers, but it just wound me up. As I said
originally, it was the *thread* which annoyed me, rather than any one
post.
And thanks to Lindsay for making the sort of post that mine should have
been.

| (...) Stop that! That offends me! <G,D,&R> It makes me think of that puking yellow happy face (YHF). The only thing that makes me feel better at that point is thinking of the YHF with a bleeding bullet hole in the forehead. -- | Tom Stangl, (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
