I was there in person (wow it was cold this year!) and I must say that
it was impressive. It wasn't the best float (hopefully they do better
next year) but it was pretty cool to see LEGO in the rose parade. The
front part had a floral incarnation of the "Sky Cycle" ride, which was
pretty accurate. The cars with minifigs at the back were better, IMHO,
because they looked more like real LEGO. I liked the Primo starfish.
The big "LEOG Maniac" head with the skycycle track coming out of it
wasn't too great.

| (...) Typos are fun sometimes! I like the name "LEOG" :) If TLC ever produces a Flintstones-style theme with cavemen and dinosaurs[1] (this has been on my wish list for years!!!), I think Leog would be a great name for one of the characters. :) (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
