Yesterday, when I was at this big department store at the Lego section.
I saw a mom and a 7-8 years old boy. He stopped in front a big Ninja
set and ask his mother for it. She said:
"No, it is expensive and the pieces are scattered around the house and
most are lost"
The boy asked for a smaller set, but she said that she will never buy,
even if it cost only R$ 1,00 ( a little less then a dollar...).
Well she is right about Lego being expensive and if the children are
not well behaved the pieces will be all over the house.
But it is not enough to stop buying a wonderful toy.
Do you know any anti-Lego people?

Paulo

(...) I do sometimes overhear this sort of thing in stores, but other than that, I would say not really. It might just be the kind of people I know, but they tend to fall into one of two catagories: "Lego is cool!!!!" or "Uh, yeah, that's neat." (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
