I have hear a lot of talk about how much dislike there is towards the 2000
line of LEGO. I just wanted to put my two cents in. I now have the Technic
Pit Droid, The Flash Speeder, The Desert Skiff, and The B-wing. I think that
the B-wing is one of the best sci-fi type LEGO models that I have ever seen.
The Command Center with the clear piece with the Death Star printed on it
and the sliding doors just like the Star Wars Universe has in several
places. And the B-wing itself. I am really impressed. I have to admit I was
very leery of even buying them until I heard everyone else's opinion - or at
least waiting to hear a good opinion - but never did. My wife and I are
celebrating our first Christmas together and rather spoil one another.
Yesterday (Saturday the 18th of December) She and I opened a few of our
presents from each other and the presents given to us by my mother and dad -
we will be spending Christmas week with her family.
Holly (my wife) surprised me with the above mentioned 2000 series sets. I
just wanted to put one lonely comment of 'I am impressed and pleased' out
there so that anyone like myself (looking for good marks) can hear someone
else praising the lineup.

Thanks for listening,

(...) Then again, those *are* all Star Wars sets. They are much better than the standard lines are, cunstruction-wise. ;) Jeff P.S. The Flash Speeder is my favorite of the current new releases. (25 years ago, 20-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
