(...) Nah, but they are planning a "Death Star Trench" set. It will consist of 10 copies of the new CRAPP[1], colored in light gray, dark gray, and black. Steve [2] See Adventurers set 5986 (pg 15) and Rock Raiders set 4990 (pg 13). (26 years ago, 9-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

(...) More likely you'd get one CRAPP and a handlful of pieces with instructions for x sections of the trench, meaning you'd have to buy 10 or so to get the set! I'm sure TLG isn't that bad yet :) Richard (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

(...) Good: Since the X-Wing is (about) 32 studs wide, the 'Trench Set' comes with 1 gray 32x32 baseplate, 6 rectangular BURPS, and enough bricks to fill in the gaps (and maybe even build a turbo cannon[1] tower). Bad: 1 gray baseplate and 10 1x6x5 (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
