I don't know...I recently checked all the lego direct catalogs i have gotten
recently and they all have some sort of parts pack, even if its just the
bricks.  I am firmaly convinced parts packs are gone.  they will probably stop
advertising them in 2000 and just let the stock run out.  Maybe the will even
send them to the new lego outlets that are popping up.
