(...) Thanks for the update, but, my oh my, they reall screwed it up with the island roadplate. That looks terrible! (look at the overhead view). The differences appear to be... ...island road plate is entirely different ...runways are one stud (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Thanks Eric! BTW, I got the catalog scan from the magazine article; I don't have the catalog myself. (...) Wow! That's totally cool. I agree. I hope it hits the North American market soon. However, I'm guessing the price is going to be 99.00 US, which would make it the 2nd costliest Legend/Classic that Lego has put out. Just a thought... Benjamin (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

My brother and I somehow inherited (probably through a garage sale or somesuch) one of those when we were kids, and I always wondered what it was from (we knew it was an official LEGO part, but there's no way a brick-built car was going (...) (...) Illegal? No, you can't be arrested or assigned a preset fine for using the LEGO logo. That's a trademark violation, not a crime. They could sue you, if you're dumb enough to push things that far. In this and/or similar cases, more likely (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.general)
