Re: How have the new colors affected your recent buying decisions?

My set buying days are over. I will not buy any 2004 or later sets until such time as the grey and brown colors are changed back to their original versions (which I expect will be never). I believe that if Lego as a company would make such poor (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I need your help... and info!

(...) I answered based on the number of times there was a Brickish appearance. I hope this doesn't mess it up Jake. By the way - do we get to see the results? Psi (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: I need your help... and info!

Another problem that no-one seems to have mentioned. My group (The Brickish.org) has appeared on television but if I choose to say that it has then next question is how many times I have appeared and doesn't give me option to say none. (...) Maybe it should have been wise to indicate the currency you expect us to use when answering (the SEK is not the same as the $), or was this survey USA only, without mentioning it? -- Anders Isaksson, Sweden BlockCAD: (2 URLs) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: I want my money back!

(...) Hey, Terry! I had somewhat the same experience when building the new mini-ISD (4092?). I like (not love, just like) the set, and have bought several to try and build a mid-sized ISD. When building it, I hadn't built anything with Lego in over (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: I need your help... and info!

Done. I think your people will be surprised at how few of my Lego purchases are made at Shop @ Home or retail. (75% are made at eBay and BrickLink). I suspect there are many AFOLs with a similar percentage. (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: I need your help... and info!

Thanks for the opportunity, Jake and keep up the good work. I truly believe that we AFOLs have been underestimated by TLC, so this is a great opportunity to let them know who we are. The majority of my purchases have been through retail and I've (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Furniture, Furniture, Furniture!

Are there any good resources for furniture MOCs? I'm looking to decorate a large early 1900s New England house, with an emphasis on "Victorian" style. Some of the things I'll be delving into, if there aren't already versions floating around: Old (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: I need your help... and info!

(...) Jake, One question I thought was a little tricky to answer was "How many people attend these events?" Because I filled in that my favorite LEGO community events were both LUG Meetings & Train Shows. The answer as to how many people attend is (...)   RE: PaB Parts

Since the Lego Store opened up only 55 miles away, I visit as often as I can. The Bomber was a Christmas gift and I haven't ravaged the set for parts (yet) when I got a PaB cup of 4x8 plates, there was a lot of air in the cup, so I grabbed and (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)
