What with the prelims being over now, and the proliferation of Lugnetters on the list, I thought it would be kinda cool for the finalists to share their experiences. (...) odd, i thought i read somewhere (maybe last year?) lego was doing well, and that creator and bionicle were expected to help sales a lot. did lego have their first gain in several years last year? maybe that's what i'm thinking of. (...) I dunno-- "Duplo" is a brand name that lasted 25 years. Some of today's parents probably remember growing up with it. But "Explore" was only around for 2 years. Hardly as recognizable. I can't tell you how many people I have helped in the Lego aisle this past year. People looking for Duplo size Lego were confused. (...) I doubt that, Explore or Duplo, still the same stuff. Maybe they're going to kick Jack Stone's butt? (hope so). I read in the paper today (URL) the director of lego is fired, as he should change it from a negative business to a positive, which (he) has failed.
