Speificly a train motor. I am worried that some underpaid security lacky might see it show up on the xray machine and flag it as "potentially dangerous". Sounds silly I know but with all this talk about "better security at airports" (where even a (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

I'm not so sure. Is it possible that eBay sent the guy an e-mail on your behalf? If this is the case, then it is probably an anti-spam measure. One of my professors uses a similar technique to limit the number of e-mails sent to him. Look at (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 2-Dec-03, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general)
