Worst-case scenario is that you'll have to open the package and show him
that it's a motor. But I wouldn't worry about it too much; the scanners
have a high-enough resolution that they can differentiate between a gun and
an electric motor. And loads of people carry electric motors through
security checkpoints (electric razors), so the guard will probably
recognize it for what it is.
