  Re: Yellow blues...

(...) Wow. Yellow? I will be interested whether this is just another dirty nozzle or consistent new hue. Dirty nozzle means not pure yellow--my yellows are greenish, like they were made immediately after a blue run. Two bad shades came in the same (...)   Re: Fwd from a builder: Colors don't match, among other things!

(...) Two new colours shouldnt be a big issue for sorting. If you are keen eyed, it'll be easy, and if not, then you won't care about the difference. (...) You will be able to figure this out simply by referring to the date of the set. Also, Lugnet, (...) (22 years ago, 28-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) I'm not a frequent poster to Lugnet, but I read it almost every day.   Yellow blues...

A new basic color seems to have been hit by the "color shift syndrom": yellow. When I opened my brand new (URL) 8455 Backhoe Loader>, I noticed that some parts ((URL) RC Race Buggy'> and (URL) 'Technic Liftarm 1 x 7 Bent'>) had a slightly darker, (...)   LEGO Constructionary game - anyone bought or played this yet?

A co-worker pointed out this item on the web today: (URL) (1) It *appears* to be a new LEGO based game, in the vein of the Creator game.   Re: an idea for the new colors in the 2004 sets

(...) I was just at the LIC in Orlando yesterday and I can say that the PaB was doing quite well with the general public, I had to keep pushing those pesky kids away so I could get to the bricks I wanted ;) jt (22 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Update on color issue

(...) I've seen many, many more parents and kids fill cups than AFOLs. Though we do have a handful of AFOL regulars who come in and pack cups. -Tim (22 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Update on color issue

(...) Care to venture a guess as to what percentage of sales TLC projects from the Pick-a-Brick walls in the new Retail Stores?   Re: Update on color issue

(...) Nope..that's exactly the point. Remember that most children don't have enough Lego bricks to make huge color-coordinated MOC like most of us AFOL's.   Re: Not Really About 2004 Castle Products

Rocco, I think you need to reread my original post. It was about the Castle line. I used the color issue to point out that rumors of Castle demise were perfectly understandable.   Re: Update on color issue

(...) Yes yes yes... we know, we know. Colors won't entice kids where color doesn't matter into buying more LEGO than they already do, so this change seems aimless.
