(...) I think you're missing the point. The general consensus, I believe, is that introducing new colours is acceptable. It's the REPLACING of one colour with a slightly different shade that's causing all this ruckus - especially when the colour(s) (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

I've decided I'm just going to start buying these sets, and then returning them - opened - saying that "these grey pieces don't match the grey pieces I already have..." Yea, it's petty, but if enough people started doing it I guarantee you it would (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general) !

As Larry said, cleaning this many parts with Brasso would be an enormous job and it wouldn't work on anything textured, like roof bricks, and would take the printing off any printed parts. My suggestion would be to take some of the more disposable (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)
