Re: Perspectives on a Lego Community Website

(...) It seems to me that if areas of the website could be editted/updated by individuals who don't necessarily have permissions to the overall format, the website would have a lot more of a community feel, and the burden on any one particular (...)   Re: Responding to a Troll (was Re: Kicking the Brick with: Paul Hartzog)

(...) If it's any consolation, here's my story. Note: I am not just speaking as someone who didn't get his magazine but as someone who was to be doing face to face business with Matt's BrickMedia. At the 2003 BricksWest, Matt brought myself and a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Computer case (of Lego)

(...) Except that it was about community, and community interaction... and problems interacting - which I think is at least partly due to a mindset of secrecy within the community. And I gave a concrete example of that secrecy. (...) Hardly a (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Computer case (of Lego)

(...) Probably because most of the people who build these things are computer geeks first, lego geeks second, so they don't have a large brick collection, and have to make do with what they have. Adrian (22 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

  Re: Computer case (of Lego)

(...) I'm curious why they never go monochromatic. Perhaps not as recognizable as LEGO? Like the little house on top though! (22 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

Re: Does anybody know about this set?

(...) I'd say it's a clone, either Tyco or Choko, can't quite make out the logo from here: (URL) not an official LEGO model AFAIK and the instructions don't make sence if it's a promotion item?   Does anybody know about this set?

Hi, On eBay Germany, I found this truck: (URL) a big Model Team truck with stripes in German colors, and an instruction labelled "Mobil 180". Does anybody know anything about this set? Is it a local German promo model? Or is it even Lego at all?? (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.modelteam)
