What a cool topic!!! I would have to go with either the 8480 Space Shuttle or the 8880 Super Car. Either of these sets have a great selection of parts and would allow for almost limitless interactive models. They also maintain a more classic Lego (...) (22 years ago, 12-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

#6980 Galaxy Commander: (URL) One of my most favorite late Classic sets. I could leave the base on my island and cruise the skies with the front half looking for other islands, stopping occasionally to snorkel and boogieboard (I've never surfed, but (...)
