(...) Note - the blue Creator tubs can be compacted up to 5:1 if bricks are stacked, 4:1 with little to no stacking. But that's because 300 of the 1K bricks are 1x1s. (23 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Dave, If your collection is 500K, then I'd better not even THINK about how large mine is ;-) Take your Iris cart collection, and multiply it by 3. That's all my new bricks. If I can get all the rest of the bricks into Iris carts, add at least what (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'd second that guess. I have about 193K _that is identifiable_ as being in my collection, and it probably takes 2x your volume at least for storage. I'd guess I have more like 250K pieces, but that is a guess, whereas the 193K is a minimum (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I have a pretty accurate count of my bricks, and I weigh in at 203,000 bricks. At a rough guess, I'd say my collection is a bit more than what you've got in the picture volume-wise. I'd guess about 150,000 is shown in the picture-- and if (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I would also guess between 100,00 and 150,000 pieces based on the volume of your collection compared to mine. I have a fairly accurate count using the Lugnet DB. Do you know how many sets you have? You might be able to use that to guess along (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
