| I NEVER BUILT the main model. I think the "bodywork" is UGLY. I built the alternate first, and haven't touched it since. Someday I'll rip it apart and built the alternate PROPERLY, with transmission and other extras, but it will take more parts, and (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Might as well JUST get the 2 pieces I need, rather than buying a set ;-) I'll buy it if I have to, but I don't need most of the pieces in that set, especially at $50. | (...) I do sometimes overhear this sort of thing in stores, but other than that, I would say not really. It might just be the kind of people I know, but they tend to fall into one of two catagories: "Lego is cool!!!!" or "Uh, yeah, that's neat." (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
