In a press conference today, Chief Commander Stephen Graynolt of Billundia’s
FSPC revealed that the ship
FSPC Lafayette had
been launched several weeks ago and has just arrived at the border of Cruan’atan
Sector on a diplomatic mission. Officials of Cruan’atan are holding a galactic
summit in hopes to establish a treaty on accepted use of unmanned drones for
exploration of populated sectors.
The Lafayette is captained by Commander Martin Greenleaf who has been given
authoritity to speak on behalf of the Billundian government in this mission.
Greenleaf previously commanded diplomacy vessels under the Department of Halo
Security. This is the first extra-sector mission for a Billundian flagship.

Due to concerns at the Darpenime colonies, other Valyancian nations have opted
to not attend the Cruan’atan conference, leaving Billundia in control of
Valyancian input on the probe issue.
