This is one of those times where you can have your cake and eat it too.
If you restart the level ("Lose all your equipment"), everything on the map
resets except for your experience - kills, strength (boosted by elixirs),
rapidity (ditto), and fight. At the end, you will find the shield again. It
will be a bit tougher going the second time around because the monsters are
tougher, but it will take you a shorter time since you know what you are doing.
All the gold resets too.
You can repeat doing that until you are happy. I see that elixirs now cost $350
a pop.

| cheeky :) with the reduced prices of Elixirs I guess I'll just hardcore it and not restart ta (21 years ago, 9-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming)
