This has been announced previously, and was discussed after the last BrikWars
game and at Lizzy's, but:

The New England Lego User's Group will be gathering at Brandeis University this
coming Saturday (April 29th) to pound each other into the dirt with a nice,
"friendly" game of BrikWars!

If you aren't sure what this whole BrikWars thing everyone's been talking about
is, or you think you might want to review the rules, jog on over to:

http://www.teleport.com/~rayhawks/1998/bwframes.htm

and have a look.

I think last time we discovered that about 300 points is a good level for the
kind of game we want to play.  If you want to participate, read up on the rules
(there will be hard copies at the game) and put together some units.  One major
troop limit we added is a ratio of 1 vehicle to 5 troops.

Brandeis University is located in beautiful, crime-free Waltham, Massachusetts,
and is accessable by public transportation via the #70 bus line and the
Fitchburg line of the Commuter Rail (Brandeis/Roberts stop).  More specific
directions will follow as soon as I have a campus map with the specific
location of the room on it, but in the meantime the eager can reference
www.Brandeis.edu for more details (on the University, not the game).  The room
is reserved for us from 10am till 7pm, so we should have plenty of time for the
game.

Hope to see lots of people there!  If you have any questions about the game,
the event, or life in general, feel free to email me and I'll try my best to
answer them.

Eric

I want to go too... not sure we could get up there for a reasonable price though... are there any hotels near Brandeis? (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
