I have played and GMed Full Thrust games for years.  I have about 30 of the
metal ships and hundreds of the Star Trek micro-machines.  You can use a few
ships, or many.  My friends and I have played fleet-sized battles.  If you
have played or have seen a BattleTech game, it plays much the same.  Any
miniature can be stated out to play.  Friends have played it with Fighters
and say it works, I have not seen the game played in this manner.

I'm sure Lego microships can be used once your players agree on sizes.  In
fact, I have been collecting the mini fighter sets from the Lego Star Wars
sets and am planning to check out the fighters' game.  I would like to see
micro Star Destroyers and Rebel Warships, and try and play a game with them.
It is a killer game.  As to where to find the rules, check your local hobby
shop and every once in a while it shows up on ebay.

Good Gaming
Hugh

This is sort of O.T., but I was wondering if anyone plays "Full Thrust" and
what they think about it. I'm sort of leaning towards miniature games and it
looks pretty groovy, but it's hard to tell. Plus -for anyone's who has
played - could the rules be adapted for Lego microships? Not that I'm
looking for a Lego-only game; I like little lead minis and whatnot.

Is there a place in the U.S. where I might find a copy? (Eastern
Massachusetts would be good too). I've been scanning the internet, but it
doesn't look good...

Thanks.

I have some pictures of an individual gamemastering Full Thrust at Gencon 02 using Lego ships. The construction was simple but effective and the players seemed to like them james "Don Cox" <the1hugh@yahoo.com> wrote in message (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.gaming)
