Re: Santa's Super Spiffy Splendid Supersonic Space Sleigh

(...) Geez, that was fast! And cool! I really like that you chose not to use the one-part sled runner for the sleigh. Neat reindeer too! And just the right bit of whimsy to make it a fun model! Joe Meno .space paparazzi! (21 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

  Holiday M&M's - Quick Pic

Hey all, Just showing off a quick pic of the little M&M crew I'm working on for a local window display this December.   Re: Santa's Super Spiffy Splendid Supersonic Space Sleigh

(...) Thanks. I'm really pleased with how well the reindeer came out, considering the design for them sprang basically fully formed from my head a la Athena. Inspiration is a scary thing sometimes.   Re: Santa's Super Spiffy Splendid Supersonic Space Sleigh

(...) Thanks. There's actually a second door underneath the sleigh for dropping packages from a great height down chimneys and stuff, but I forgot to take pictures of it. You can imagine a bomb bay door, right? LOOK OUT BELOW! Adrian (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

Re: Santa's Super Spiffy Splendid Supersonic Space Sleigh

(...) Hah! I had a hard enough time configuring Rudolph to get the trans-red dots on his nose, refitting it to give it an LED would be...problematic. I suppose I could excavate the insides of the two brown slopes that make his body... Nah. Thanks (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Mini pirate ship

For MichLUG's appearance at the Detroit-area Festival of Trees, I thought a mini pirate ship would be a fun ornament. (URL) it'll have to be a good glue job to keep this on the tree.
