Couldn't help but noticing it on today's comic... definitely not the first time! (URL) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: Christmas Train

(...) I really like the way my steam engine turned out. Considering I limited my self to primarily red pieces, with trim in white and green, I think it turned out pretty well. I've discovered that the key to a good looking model is the proper (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: Christmas Train

(...) Nice, Adrian! I've yet to try holiday theming with trains. I tried to build a replica of that Hallmark Christmas Ornament from 1995, but that's about it. Kevin (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: The old sandbox analogy...

(...) Hehe. The scene started out yesterday with the three minifigs (minus the cop) sitting down in the sandbox, and the joke was the LUGNET minifig in the box. I decided to elaborate on it today for a much better effect. :-) -Tim (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: The old sandbox analogy...

(...) Heehee! Much to my surprise, there were no Timmies that I saw on the layout. But, it would have been cool if we had a 'parade of the Timmies' with just a bunch of em marching down the street...or Timmies getting into trouble somehow. Glad ya (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Christmas Train

I haven't dabbled much into MOC trains thus far, but I decided that my Christmas tree layout needed a little extra something. To that end, I created a nifty train, driven by santa, and hauling lots of presents for all the girls and boys. It's on the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun.holiday) !

  Re: The old sandbox analogy...

(...) (URL) infamous 'sandbox analogy' - welcoming anyone to Lugnet so long as they play well in the Sandbox. Obviously, two of the minifigs here are not playing well in this sandbox. :-) -Tim (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: Those darned oraments!!!

(...) Oh, how I agree with you! They were the coolest things ever to go on the tree at my house. And then they stopped! Those Hallmark people, always taking away the really cool Lego ornaments (and then adding other, almost as cool, non-Lego (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Those darned oraments!!!

What ever happened to lego making those Christmas ornaments? They made two then stopped! I thought they were so cooooooL! the sleigh! The fireplace! Why did they ever stop??? Those were a hit with AFOL/TFOLs a bunch of years ago. I wish they made (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: brick game

(...) Yep, I was thinking the same. At times during last year I would sit and play for hours on that thing. But I really hated the way (some) people would leave the game when they were about to lose... made me want to suggest a penalty for leaving (...) (24 years ago, 24-Nov-00, to lugnet.fun)

(...) Yeah, kinda addictive... too bad you can't say anything that's not on the list though... would kinda like to suggest moves/strategies, etc.... but I guess they can protect themselves that way against vulgarity n stuff... DaveE (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.fun)
