Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) Heh. (...) Of the pieces in the set, only the exhaust pipes even seem exotic to me. In fact, that's why I bought it, to get a pair. Somehow I'd managed not to get them. There is something (to me) un-LEGO about them... they follow such a (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

(...) And the set has rotating wheels! Gosh, LEGO has only featured those since 1962. ;) Actually, I don't think this set includes any new pieces--the minifig, the antenna, the spoiler, the wheels, the windshield, the exhaust pipes-- these pieces (...)   Re: Timmy!

(...) <Snip> I believe there is a Classic (Freestyle) set with 2 Timmies in it. One real and one with a Freestyle torso. I don't remember the set number but it has a playtable with it and is still available ( At least in my little part of the world) (...) (...) Or perhaps the writer was just deprived or real Lego as a child and had to make do with Brix Blox or some such knock-off. Sean (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

  Re: Timmy!

(...) <snip> You make it sound like an illness. "I got Timmies from a used juniorized needle." ;-) Timmies has mutated into Binks disease. ;-) (...) Yep. Shiri's Acronym Guide can help you with these things. (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: Timmy!

(...) AFAIK, Timmies are no longer available through TLC. But because he is so hated, I'm sure you could find lots (that could be a pun...) of him on Brickbay and Ebay. I only have one, and I wanna keep him along with my only Jar-Jar, simply because (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

  Timmy!

I was wondering if it was still possible to get Timmies? I have something I want to do that sort or requires a Timmy or two, but I have a feeling that they are no longer available. I have none, having only recently come back to Legos. In fact, I (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

(...) A ways off, but, we're doing pretty good for only a couple years. Almost Nov. 18.(not official b'day, I know) (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(...) Well, since one of the "non-LEGO" things they refer to is the MINIFIG, one wonders how long it's actually beem since the reviewer played with LEGO. eric (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.fun, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.general)

Amusing Review of 2963 Extreme Racer on Amazon.com

(URL) the Extreme Racer, the folks at LEGO have taken their idea of classic interlocking building blocks to the, uh, extreme. The components of this scale-model, off-road buggy are definitely not like the old LEGOs. There are rubber tires, rotating (...)
