It appears SAMSONITE&reg; (of briefcase fame) has imported and / or made
LEGO&reg; products in the US under licence before the LEGO Group actually
entered the US market.
</P>

LEGO USA just had a 25-yr asnniversary, so they showed up around 1973.
SAMSONITE probably from sold LEGO bricks some time in the 1960s.
