This is easily fixed, go to the newsgroup configuration page:

http://news.lugnet.com/news/post/setup/

Re-enter your information, and remember to click the 'keep information in a
cookie' checkbox.

BTW you can also do it when signing in by choosing the "until I sign out
manually" option on the sign in screen.
