Not entirely what you asked for, but...
A while ago, I started a quick summary of different modeling scales,
including some Lego scales, here:

I'd love to see more Lego scales, "official" and non-, in that list. And
I've seen quite a few scales just with different peoples' Lego train
models...

That works for most folks. For my own stuff, I make just one more level of
distinction -- nanofig scale is for modelling really really huge things,
like capitol starships.
