Re: Sheepish question... What does MOC mean?

MOC = "my own creation"; i.e., something you built/designed yourself, and not something from one of LegoCo's instruction booklets. Franklin (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq)

Sheepish question... What does MOC mean?

I've been reading Lugnet for ages, now, and was a regular of r.t.l, but I can't for the life of me remember what MOC means. I've got it by context, but I can't place the words with the acronym. (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Newer version of "lego geek code"

(...) Done and done. And also age & sex (and inner child too) are done... Thought about adding a special clause on that if anyone wrote something like: YB1980>f or something.... Think they'd have issues... DaveE (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.general)

Re: Newer version of "lego geek code"

(...) Actually, this has changed a bit in my version (unless you modified your code)... The old range of sets didn't quite go up as high as I thought it should. (I also added some new fields, like # of pieces (P), and a couple others) (...) Ooops... (...) (24 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.general)

Re: Newer version of "lego geek code"

Neat!! Neat neat neat!!! I just *had* to dig up my LGC from last summer, which was a real mission since search is disabled just right now... oh well. ;-) This is what I got: --- How I feel about Castle: They make OTHER themes?   Newer version of "lego geek code"

(...) Ok, now I've got two strikes against me. I went ahead and made my own new-ish version of the LGC WITHOUT talking to Derek (et all?) first. Strike one. Strike two is that I made an INTERPRETER and a DESCRIPTION of my new version of the LGC, but (...) (24 years ago, 13-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.general)

Re: hello?... (was "where is latest version of lego geek code")

(...) Sorry, I was busy. Derek's is the more recent. (...) That'd be kinda cool on the web interface ..... Steve (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.general)

Re: hello?... (was "where is latest version of lego geek code")

(...) Probably not. Can't think of anyone I know of who might know, short of Todd maybe... I don't think it's been a really hot topic though... Anyone heard of anything recently?   Re: search by "Phrase" (not "Keyword[s]")

(...) No problem. ;-) Thanks for answering, BTW. I'm _still_ waiting for an answer to the _other_ question that I posted (in ".faq"), though... ;-) Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.people.newbie, lugnet.faq)

Re: search by "Phrase" (not "Keyword[s]")

Re: search by "Phrase" (not "Keyword[s]")

(...) How bad is it? When I need it, I really really need it, and I'd be willing to have to go through a "do you really mean to do this, it's gonna be slow and you may wait a long time because I'm gonna set the priority on this thread really low so (...)   How many pieces in Spark and Flare?

I saw <set:8521 Flare> and <set:8522 Spark> yesterday. Not for the first time, of course, but it was the first time I looked at the number of pieces on the boxes. Spark had 33 pieces, and Flare had 42. In the Lugnet Guide, and in a LS@H catalog (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general, lugnet.faq)

Re: search by "Phrase" (not "Keyword[s]")

(...) It's not, no. It'd be there now if I knew how to make it execute efficiently. --Todd (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.people.newbie, lugnet.faq)

Re: search by "Phrase" (not "Keyword[s]")

(...) Let me explain. :-) The info at the URL you gave me, i.e., using plus signs in front of the keywords, will guarantee that all results of the search will have those keywords _in_ _any_ _order_. They do _not_ guarantee that I will find a (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.people.newbie, lugnet.faq)
