(...) A boiled down answer (and I'd refer to the thread as authoritative) is that the word LUGNET should be followed by (tm) (or TM superscripted if you're using a font/display combination capable of same), and is OK to use if you're not implying (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.faq)

I can't take credit for any of the text shown here. But I can point out that it looks like the brake fluid idea has not been panning out, it damages the ABS, and that several people have reported success with various types of rubbing compounds or (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.faq)
