Mel & anyone else looking for a ride:
We are going to try and support getting people rides to the event (as opposed to
taking a taxi). What we need are volunteers to do the driving (about 15 minutes
each way). And, if you need a ride, we need to know your airline and scheduled
arrival time.
What we will try and do is get a volunteer driver’s cell phone number to the
person that they will be meeting. So, when you land, you can call your ride and
they can meet you at the curb by your airline’s baggage claim.
So, if volunteer drivers would like to email me (bryan@NOSPAMbrickworld.us) -
leave out the NOSPAM obviously - that would be great. Please send your
availability, number of times you would be willing to provide a ride and your
cell number.
And, those that need rides can email me your flight information. I can match up
people and pass on the cell numbers. From there, we leave up to you guys to
make it happen (I suggest that you share your car make, model & color at a
minimum).
If we can’t arrange rides, then people will need to take taxis. I am guessing
that the taxi ride would be about $25 (but I don’t know).

| Hello! I am hoping someone can help me! I am arriving on the 21st June around 12:05pm (approximate landing time) and need to find the best and cheapest way to get to the event from the airport. Apparently there is no shuttle bus for the hotel :( Is (...) (17 years ago, 10-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld)
