The City of Brickmond is proud to announce the completion of its latest
public works project: The Brickelodeon Theatre and Performing Arts Center.
The Brickelodeon is an outdoor venue that will alternate between various
brickmation programs and “live” stage performances.  The premiere of the
Brickelodeon will take place at BrickFest 2002.    For this introductory
exhibition, the Brickelodeon will feature two programs of brickmation videos.

The first program will be “The ABC Showcase Presents:  The Best of the
Animated Brick Company” ( http://www.lugnet.com/~250/brickmation/ ) and the
second will be a variety of LEGO animation features currently available on
the World Wide Web.

As a sneak preview, early (and a trifle blurry) pictures of The Brickelodeon
Theatre have been uploaded to BrickShelf.  Included in one picture is an
onscreen shot of the latest offering from the Animated Brick Company, “The
Mollusk.”

While at BrickFest this year, be sure to visit the Brickelodeon Theatre
(scheduled to be in the Train/Town room) for some entertaining brickmation fun!
