The BrickFest organizers would like to extend an invitation to all
AFOL's that would like to submit their logo ideas/artwork for use by
BrickFest 2002. This is a great opportunity to share one of your many
other talents with the community.
We are looking for logos and artwork that will appeal to the broadest
spectrum of LEGO fans, that can be used on the program, web-page,
flyers, and the 2002 BrickFest T-shirt! The image should have impact and
be legible in a wide range of sizes. Please keep in mind that the
designs submitted cannot say LEGO or infringe on anything the LEGO group
or any other entity may have trademarked.
Requirements:
A draft image is fine for submission, but the final image should to be
designed in a program that allows for the colors to be easily separated.
A vector image program like Corel Draw is recommend. The final image
should have no more then 4 or 5 colors.
The design will be selected by the BrickFest organizers and the
artist/creator will receive our appreciation, full credit as well as
free stuff to be determined at a later day.
Initial submissions are due by May 20
Final artwork deadline June 1.
Send your submissions to info@brickfest.com. In the Subject line
indicate "logo submission". All appropriate designs submitted for
BrickFest will be posted to the BrickFest website and will become the
property of BrickFest and the event organizers.
