Getting through security on amtrak might will probably be your biggest issue. I
take the metro down to the FAA in the mornings, and there's no big deal about
security. I also went to see my broker in the finnancial disctrict the other day
(they claim there is a specific threat against our finnancial institutions) and
the only difference is that there are more cops around. I think you should be
fine, but good luck carrying all your stuff on the metro... you might want to
give rush hour a miss.
