   Clearly, this latest attempt in Germany at the higher altitude had some unfair advantage since the less dense air at that altitude allowed the builders to work more quickly. The PDX record was acheived at seal level where the builders had to fight the denser air.

On the other hand, the Berlin builders had to fight the infamous “Berliner Luft”, so I guess that evens out things a bit :P
