We have seen amazing creations come out of the minds of many...
How would people feel if we held a brick-olympics of sorts.
Where an individual, or a Lug/LTC would compete in a series of short
contest to see who is the best at building with the brick.

Best at building...  what?

I believe I could match anyone when it comes to building a LEGO robot to
compete, but my design skills may fall short when it comes to building a
realistic looking church, or a train that can pass for something you've actually
seen on a track somewhere.

I think the choices for a competition would be:
1) Build something that looks nice (judge by looks)
2) Build something faster than anyone else (everyone builds the same thing)
3) Build a "robot" to compete against other robots
4) All of the above.

So what did you have in mind?
Well any and all of those!

I just want to encourage some fun competition between
indivudals/lugs/organizations, for example I may choose to challange you to a
competition to build the best line follower robot (since thats what your good at
:) ) or my Lug may challange your lug, or your team to build a sumo bot...
Or, I could decide to try my hand at Mecha, and challange Eric Sophie to a duo..
Hi Eric :), Or better still I could challange you Steve to a Jack Stone
*shudder* contest.

I think that in order for this type of thing to work, we would have to plan the
'duos' ahead of time, so that that person can bring his brick, or arrange to
have some Lego avaiable for the challange. The lug/individual could chose wether
to accept the challange, or pass on it.

These contest can be held at any time as long as there is some space to hold the
duo

Feeling kind of like I should be at the OK Coral...
