I'm rather embarrassed but there was a snafu in the shipping of the prizes and I didn't quite got them in time for BrickFest PDX. They arrived to me on Monday the 16th, and I am proud to say two of the three are already mailed out. The awards for (...) Hi all, Could anyone who was at BFPDX answer this? See the creature in the lower right of this photo: (URL) assume that's a Nazgul on a winged fell beast from LotR: RotK. Who built that, and do they have better photos in a Brickshelf gallery (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.castle)

(...) Greg Hyland works for TLC, at least part of the time. It's generally not good business practice to mock the people that pay your salary. That was an awesome fest! It was great visiting with everyone and putting faces to those I had not met in person before. Just to name a few it was great visiting with... Hm.. It seems to be a tad rear-heavy :) Good thing it's not that very stable so there's not that much forces on the bricks as it hits the ground. Still very amazing not a single brick was damaged! Hi- Inspired by Jake's post some months back for "great LEGO moments", here's a list of personal moments from BrickFest PDX 2004: 1.
