On 6th-7th December 2003 the annual Warley National Railway Exhibition will be
at the NEC, Birmingham UK. I will be running fifteen 8mm:1ft scale British
prototype Lego trains there.
The layout is 16ft x 12ft. Two trains run at once, one each way.
Steam engines have moving rods, including valve gear on some.
Includes:
British Class 66 Model (based on real loco built by GM in London, Ontario),
BR standard class 9F 2-10-0,
Hogwarts Express (real Hall engine model with 2 train motors, 2 technic motors
for the driving wheels and lights in the firebox)
Tilting "Pendolino" passenger express (4-car set at 80-studs long per coach)
Small engines, some based on Thomas characters but modelled as the real engines.
More info on the exhibition from www.warley-mrc.org
(the NEC is next to Birmingham airport, (code BHX on flight tickets))
Please post to lugnet.trains if you'd like more info on my trains/layout etc...
