Yeah, I noticed (have been away for a few days for work after BrickFest) a lot
of people are calling all the robotics events as ours in their picture galleries
etc. That's not fair to all the hard work by the main BrickFest Minsdtorms
organizers:
The two competitions, Sumo and the Maze were organized by John Barnes of LUCNY,
as Steve mentions, and I don't think people give him enough credit for the time
and effort he puts into running them. The precision woodwork for his modular
maze, for example, is of incredible quality--as good as the stuff the Exhibits
construction department at the award-winning Ontario Science Center does. It
takes true dedication as an organizer of a robotics event to put that much care
and effort!
