Following the LEGOLAND Windsor Red Letter Days Experience on 7 April, a
number of UK AFOLs arranged to meet with LLW in order to discuss ways in
which future events could mutually benefit LLW and the AFOL community.
During the three-hour meeting on 11 May, many ideas were discussed ranging
from hosting a future UK LEGOfest at the park through to UK AFOLs opening a
public display area. All suggestions were seriously entertained by LLW while
one proposal in particular looks as though it will come to fruition in the
very near future. Currently, the AFOLs involved are seeking LLW's final
agreement before releasing information through the LEGO news groups, LUGNET
and other LEGO-related web sites.
