Oh, I understand and all...that's why I was leaning away from the idea in
the first place...it was just kinda' growing on me the more I thought about it.
It might be smart to do an impromptu poll of those with the means/willigness
to travel to multiple BrickFests around the country(ies) vs. those who
can't/won't.
I agree that it would be great to have Brad at ALL of the events, but that
may not be feasable for him, either. There are other members of LEGO/LD who
do/can/would attend different fests though, I would imagine. There would
likely be someone at each event.
Does anyone else dislike the idea of video conferencing any official
announcements, anyway? I personally wouldn't have a problem with it, but I
can understand wanting to be in the middle of the live announcement
excitement, too.
