Ah, it's a small point, but when you book your convention a month or two in
front of a long established existing convention and then at your first
convention bad mouth that long established existing convention, you are putting
your convention in competition with other folks in the community.
And the "your convention" is used figureatively.

| Then I guess I am going to be another stick in the mud!!! I am looking to host an event in 2008 as well. In Ohio. THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE. I already have the venue, but I DO NOT WANT TO PULL ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE OTHER places. SO I am going to (...) (17 years ago, 31-Dec-07, to lugnet.events) !

Somebody (BrickFair) is not revealing enough about money, and somebody is else watching out to make sure nobody gets rich off organizing an AFOL event (a hilarious concept to anybody of us who have (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.events) !!
