for those of you who havent been able to attend Bricks Bash, let me say its a
really nice environment for a public expo. My son & I attended two years ago,
with Ben essentially running his own little Moonbase (with about 15-20 boys
crowded around him at any one time), and me demonstrating a GBC module and a
Tic-Tac-Toe robot. The crowds were almost unbelievably appreciative, and just
kept coming through the place, with a *LOT* of kids (but pretty well behaved
ones). Part of this positive energy is due to it being located in Ann Arbor (a
lot of folks interested in such things... heck, weve attended Sumo events there
with something like 40 entries), but a lot of it also has to be credited to the
way Duane organizes the spirit of the thing. Its really well done.
