Hi Todd,
-Nope you don't need another visa. Once you're in the European union you can
travel through all it's member states/countries.
-Train from the Netherlands to Berlin is the worst option you could think off.
I think you had best check out several airlines flying to Hamburg or Berlin.
They major airlines are not that bad/expensive.
Maybe there are some people from LOWLUG going from the Netherlands, but surely
there guys from the German User group will be going. several off them live near
Hamburg.
- You could also take an intercontinental flight to LHR or Ams and switch to a
low-budget airline over here. For this you would have to compare the prices and
see what is best.
- Another option, is taken a European bus connection to Berlin. This is not very
expensive. They have daily departures connecting a lot of Europes major cities.
Somewhat like the interstate bus-lines in the US. Only this is a 1 or 2 stop
service. You could even take a bus from London, UK.
Sadly, i'm not going to Berlin very much with my truck. Otherwise i would have
gladly helped you out. ;-)
Hope this helps a little...

| I'll be taking a week or two in June/July for 1000steine-Land 2004 in Berlin, and I'm wondering what is the best (most economical) way to do this. I live in Boston and would like to leave Boston approximately June 25 in the evening and return to (...)
