  ISD build records

I'm looking to compile a list of all the ISD build attempts. The first timed build that I remember occurred at BricksWest in Feb. 2002. Does anyone know who was on that team and how long it took them to build it? For each attempt I am hoping to find (...) (...) <snipped> (...) seal level eh? So you're admitting that the PDX builders had assistance from a slippery marine mammal? This means that the PDX record is even longer, as an 11th member of the team was added (the seal) without anyone noticing! (...) (...) On the other hand, the Berlin builders had to fight the infamous "Berliner Luft", so I guess that evens out things a bit :P (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.events.1000steine-land, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: BrickFest 2004 to Attempt a Sub-60 Minute ISD Record

(...) They can have me participate even cheaper ;) Then again, I'd rather see the record move to the Netherlands during LEGOWorld! (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events.1000steine-land)

BrickFest 2004 to Attempt a Sub-60 Minute ISD Record

BrickFest Attendees! I am excited to announce that BrickFest 2004 will be able to attempt to break the current record set recently by a 10 member team at 1000 Steine-Land of 1 hour 2 minutes and 28 seconds. This will be an all out attempt to break (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.announce, lugnet.events, lugnet.events.1000steine-land) !!

(...) Snipped for brevity (...) I would also like to point out that the BrickFest PDX 2004 event was held at sea level and the latest "attempt" was carried out in Germany at an altitude greatly above sea level. The differences in atmospheric density (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.events.1000steine-land, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

(...) Well, that would certainly be an interesting twist. Doesn't that loco use 1x1x2h oldstyle windows? And it's certainly a handsome enough design. Aside from that, though, there are other loco designs out there that have better/larger parts (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events.1000steine-land, lugnet.lego)

(...) Hello All, I just can't wait to see what this new secret is ! New Lego model ? New Lego model Train ? New American based Lego model train ? I just can't wait ! Unfortunatly (for me), I will not be attending BrickFest 2004, to see this new (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events.1000steine-land, lugnet.lego)
