Hi,

It seems that almost every MOC we have done in the past 3 years has some
SNOT on it somewhere. (Yes, I know we need to buy more tissues for home....)
The most obvious being the gondaola that is almost all snot, except for the
floor and frame.  Even the school bus, water tower, and the Mission have
some SNOT in them. One of the things I was hoping to get out of BricksWest
was some new SNOT uses and ideas. Unfortunately, this really didn't happen,
as the PNLTC train talk only briefly mentioned it.

So, I have decided to create a SNOT tutorial powerpoint presentation based
on stuff I did as far back as 1970, and more recent things we have built,
seen etc. to be given at the BricksWest 2003, at a club meeting first of
course, or elsewhere as appropriate. It is about a third done so far, and
the topics include:

"Running" SNOT History (AKA Petrified bogers)
What, Why & How
More How
How to hide it! (In tissues, etc.)
Don't hide it! (But wipe it up!)
Other Uses, like... what?
Great Photos! (No kids w/ fingers in nose please!)
Let's get SNOTTED!

The last being the conclusion, and a bag handout with some parts to build a
small SNOT item.

LMK if you think this is a good idea, and I would LOVE to use some pics of
partially or completely finished MOCs you guys have done with SNOT, and some
brilliant prose to go with them. Full credit will be given as desired.

Yes, It occurred to me this would be a good Dave Barry article, but I am
(mostly) serious.

Thanks,
Mark
