  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) I do not know where you are from so I can't make any assumptions based on your market but in the US you almost never see either Belville or Scala in stores and usually when you do see it its in a specialty store (in my experiance anyway).   Re: Brad Justus is real

(...) Not to spread paranoia, but... offhand, I can think of three different ways to forge the IP in Todd's logs. Supposing someone wanted to pose as Brad Justus: one could a) break into Brad's machine and post from there b) break into Todd's (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

Wow! Sounds like you guys are trying to take over the world! Starting in 2005 inhabitants of Earth must restrain themselves from the use of their elbows and knees (like 50's B-movie robots). Just joking! GREAT news! Yes, I've got the gall to (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: "If it were my toy company..."

(...) It's true. A "Lego Classics" (not to be confused with "Lego Classic"!) line would do extremely well. (...) A lot of pieces aren't being made anymore -- I doubt you'll be able to order those. (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: "If it were my toy company..."

Wow! Todd, those were GREAT ideas! The only things I might add if it were my toy company are: 1) To (maybe) re-release discontinued items that are exteremly wanted. I mean, think Demand and Supply - people are willing to pay a heck of a lot for (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Horrible quote from the Scala web catalog

(...) LEGO has two obligations - one, to themselves, to make money, and the second (I'd like to imagine) to make toys that help children grow. You can't make people buy toys that they don't want.   Re: Junior, Juniorized, Juniorization
